Youth Committee, UBMCC Mumbai is here to explore the secret of Joy and Happiness, the secret of Victory, the secret of Strength and Peace, the secret of Empowered life with a Tagline “Celebrate Life” and to build a platform to Experience New Life, Explore New Things, Express Creativity, and Expand the Circle.

Under the Tagline “Celebrate Life”, the Youth committee has conducted a big event of Leadership Conference with the well-known Guest Speaker Brother Anand Pillai, Managing Director of Leadership Matters Inc. equipping all the youths who have participated, including students and working professionals on the topic: “Daniel’s life in the Nebuchadnezzar’s world”. Through this event, we were able to reach around 400 youths in Mumbai, in other states of India and all around the world. In addition, to give more strength to the event we had Bro. Selvams Praise and Worship. The whole UBMC youths especially the Core Team and the Technical team worked tirelessly for the event. Even before conducting this event, UBMC youths were engaged in various kinds of challenges like posts on Instagram, Facebook, etc., by making videos on Celebrate Life, Antakshari challenge, storytelling, etc. On 20th May 2020, we had a Pre-Event and on 22nd May 2020, we observed a day of prayer to seek God’s help and presence for the event to be successful and helpful to the youths who would be participating. On 24th May 2020, we were able to successfully conduct the “Celebrate Life” Youth Leadership Conference. Receiving good responses and feedback from the participants.

From 31st May 2020, we had Central Youth Fellowship with Prayers, Praise and Worship, Gods Word, and some creative Activities. It is a great pleasure that even in this lockdown period we are successful in gathering all our UBMC youths together on one platform. To continue the fellowship the Youth Committee has planned to conduct one Central Fellowship and three Zonal Fellowships each month. In the Zonal Fellowship, youths themselves plan and participate in taking an active lead in Praise and Worship, Gods word, and Activities. It is a forum, open to all our UBMC youths to grow spiritually. Until now, we were having all the fellowships fruitful and this has helped in reaching and connecting all together and in Worshipping the Lord.

To help the youths grow spiritually in the word of God and in Truth, we have “SOLA SCRIPTURA”, Bible Study every Wednesday at 8 pm, where nearly 30-40 youths take part every week. Moreover, we are having “GAP- God Answers Prayers”, intercessory prayer time every Friday at 8 pm regularly.

To fulfil the Vision, the youth committee has planned to build Disciples for Christ with proper teachings and training. In the month of July 2020, we have planned for Leadership Training every Saturday to build up Youth Leaders to Serve God in the world. It is important to raise Leaders and Equip and empower them to work for the Kingdom of God across the World. So The United Basel Mission Church Council Mumbai Youth department is here to serve God in all the ways of Equipping and Empowering our youths.
