Motto

Enlightening Minds. Illuminating Hearts. Building A Faith-Based Community on the Foundation of God’s Word.

Mission

To instil and mould godly character in children through God’s Word, so that they reflect Christ and fulfil God’s plan for their life.

Vision

The Bible in Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train up a child in the way he should go (so that) even when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Adhering to the call of God’s Word, the U.B.M. Church Sunday School strives towards the following Vision:

TO EQUIP & EMPOWER:

  • To teach tenets of faith that encourage prayer, study of Scripture and the professing of faith as important aspects of Christian faith.
  • Helping Children understand the Church’s Faith and Doctrine.
  • Equipping children and inculcating godly values that will stand them in good stead whenever at crossroads in life

TO EVOLVE:

  • Identifying potential and harnessing capabilities through interactive teaching.
  • Provide platforms that help discover various God given gifts and talents.

TO ENGAGE:

  • To encourage living a godly life and being a testimony amongst peers and in the community.
  • To involve children in faith-based activities and community service in keeping with God’s call to love our neighbours as ourselves.
  • Using God given gifts and talents for the enrichment and upliftment of the community and the society at large.

CURRENT STRENGTH

The Sunday School Ministry is spread across the 14 U.B.M. Churches, with a strength of almost 400 Children and 100 Teachers.
